Reshampatti chilli powder

Urmi Reshampatti Chilli Powder is prepared from high-quality Gholar chillies. Moderately spicy in taste, this chilli has a deep red hue. Its thicker skin contributes to a deeper and long-lasting flavour, making it ideal for the preparation of traditional homemade pickles. It may also be used for routine cooking.

We source the finest Gholar chillies, meticulously clean and sun-dry them. These chillies are then iron pounded in small batches; unlike conventional methods of chilli production, we use traditional iron pounding, which ensures that volatile oils are retained in the final product (in large-scale commercial production, these oils often evaporate due to heat generation during production). The benefits of sun drying and iron pounding are that the natural quality of chillies is kept intact. During pounding, the chilli powder is blended with a small quantity of oil to maintain freshness and enhance shelf life. Once the product is ready, our committed team of women prepare and seal each packet of chilli powder with love and care.
